A forward view is a view that looks past, or forward of, the cut plane. It is a representation of what is seen when looking forward from the cutting plane. The forward view plane is parallel to the cut plane and is set at a forward view distance from the cut plane. Elements and objects that lie beyond the cut plane (looking forward) are displayed in the forward view.
